Creating Your Account

Let's get you set up with a Slidepicker account! 🔐

Why Create an Account?​

Without an account:

  • ✅ Use the editor
  • ✅ Create presentations
  • ✅ Use all features
  • ❌ Can't save presentations
  • ❌ Can't upload images
  • ❌ Lose work if browser closes

With an account:

  • ✅ Everything above, PLUS:
  • ✅ Save presentations forever

No Rush!

You can use Slidepicker without an account. Create one when you're ready to save your work!

How to Sign Up​

No password to remember!

Step 1: Click Sign In​

Look at the top right corner of the page and click the Sign In button.

Step 2: Enter Your Email​

  1. A popup appears
  2. Type your email address
  3. Click Send Magic Link

Step 3: Check Your Email​

  1. Open your email inbox
  2. Look for email from Slidepicker
  3. Click the link in the email
  4. Done! You're logged in! 🎉
Email Not Arriving?
  • Check your spam folder
  • Wait 1-2 minutes (sometimes it's slow)
  • Make sure you typed email correctly
  • Try again with "Sign in with Google" instead

Step 4: You're In!​

You'll see your email or name in the top right corner. That means you're logged in!

Method 2: Google Account (Super Fast!)​

Already have a Google account? Use it!

Step 1: Click Sign In​

Top right corner → Click Sign In button

Step 2: Choose Google​

Click the Sign in with Google button

Step 3: Authorize​

  1. Google popup appears
  2. Choose your Google account
  3. Click Continue or Allow
  4. Done! You're logged in! 🎉
One Click

After first time, signing in with Google is just one click!

What Happens Next?​

Once signed in:

  1. Your name appears in the top right
  2. Save button becomes available
  3. Open button lets you access saved presentations
  4. Upload images by dragging and dropping

Your Profile​

Click your name/email in the top right to see:

  • ✉️ Your email address
  • 👤 Account type (Free or Premium)
  • 🚪 Sign Out button

Security & Privacy​

Your Data is Safe​

  • 🔒 Encrypted connection (HTTPS)
  • 🔐 Secure authentication
  • 🛡️ Password-free (magic link) or Google OAuth
  • 🗄️ Backed up in the cloud

We Don't:​

  • ❌ Sell your data
  • ❌ Send spam emails
  • ❌ Share your presentations
  • ❌ Access your presentations without permission

We Do:​

  • ✅ Store your presentations securely
  • ✅ Send only important emails (login links, updates)
  • ✅ Keep your data private
  • ✅ Allow you to delete everything anytime

Managing Your Account​

Signing Out​

  1. Click your name (top right)
  2. Click Sign Out
  3. Done!

Your presentations stay saved. You can sign back in anytime!

Signing In on Another Device​

Same process:

  1. Go to slidepicker.com
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Use email magic link or Google
  4. All your presentations appear!

Multiple Devices​

Your account works on:

  • 💻 Computer
  • 📱 Phone
  • 🖥️ Tablet
  • 🌐 Any device with a web browser!

Everything syncs automatically!

Troubleshooting​

Problem: Clicked the magic link twice

Solution: The link only works once. Request a new one if you're not logged in.

"Google sign-in not working"​

Problem: Popup blocked or Google error

Solutions:

  1. Allow popups for slidepicker.com
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Use email magic link instead
  4. Clear browser cache and try again

"Can't remember if I have an account"​

Solution: Just enter your email and request a magic link. If you have an account, you'll log in. If not, a new account is created!

"Want to use different email"​

Solution:

  1. Sign out of current account
  2. Sign in with new email
  3. Create new account

Your old presentations stay with the old account. Download them first if you want to keep them!
